So you're saying in your free time you do nothing? Do you consider what you're doing now nothing?

Let me drive the car, I'll put it into the 12's with stock tires! [sm=gears.gif]
Well, I was hoping for some advice/suggestions/opinions. I guess "Let me drive the car" counts as an opinion? Anyway, the track was probably about 115+ degrees. I was launching around 2k-2500 RPMs and I wasn't just dumping the clutch. I could come up with a million reasons what went wrong, but all in all the majority of it was driver error. Still once off the line, I would have expected those 25 additional horses to make up some time, but they didn't. Maybe with a better 60' time I'll show a better 1/4 time, we'll see. I'll wait for cooler temps.

By the way. take temperature in consideration with the windows rolled up and me in a full helmet. Not at all the most comfortable thing, so a lot of my driver error's was due to rushing myself at the line. Trying to pay attention/remember everything I've done in the past. Since this is only my second time at the track, I've still got a lot of practice. My shifts are usually on point though, just got to work on the launches. By the way I was shifting right at 6k.

For one thing guys, you can't race a dyno. That seems to be the case here. And one thing to take in mind is one has a Mustang Dyno and the other has a Dyno Jet. From personal exspirence I had my fox body dynoed on both styles(haven't dynoed the 05 yet) and a Dyno jet is by far more accurate than the Mustang Dyno. To me a Mustang Dyno is junk compaired to a Dyno jet. Mustang Dynos also give a false sense of horepower/torgue. Peak #'s are great but the rest of the car needs to be tuned not just for wide open trottle but for everyday driving as well. I'll take a tune that puts 10 less horepower and drives 100% better any day. Thats my .02's. Plus I just purshased a C@L intake and tuner from Brenspeed this week, I'll post how it turns out. What made me choose Brent is that his Dyno is the best brand out(Dyno Jet) there resulting in more accurate tunes and readings/measruments. You simply just can't compare a Mustang dyno(evolution) to the Dyno Jet(brenspeed), they are that much different especially the way that both measure horsepower/torque. How accurate can a dyno be when it is bolted to a lift and off the ground?

Well i dont know about you, but with brent's tune i put down 300RWHP. And i basically have the same mods as you menace. I have CAI, X-Pipe, and Arkspeed Racing Exhaust. Here is my dyno sheet.

Here is a vid of my stang getting dynoed.

The first run i put down 475rwhp, but that was because of the torque converter or something like that. Ha i wish i did put down that number.

DynoJets tend to show bigger numbers then Mustang Dynos. So if I were to run on your dyno I would have more then 300RWHP.
