Will the 4 valve Cobra heads fit our 05-06GT block?Or would you have to do some modifcations or will they not fit at all? Thanks for the input!

The heads will fit on the block but the pistons won't work with those heads.

You can use either the cobra pistons or aftermarket ones. In order to change the pistons you will have to tear down the engine then your block will require machine work to work with the new pistons. This will prove really costly, you will be better off just haveing your heads P&P they will flow better then cobra heads and you won't have to do as much work to the engine. If you are already planning to rebuild your engine then it would be no big deal to do the swap at that time but if thats not in the plans then just stick with the 3V heads.

Just drive the hell outta it, and when you blow it do a swap for the 4v 4.6 and get the S/C while your at it. Trust me you will be the first person whos happy he just blew an engine

Yeah,,,I bet I would be!LOL!Im just racking my brain on ways to make this car come alive!It looks like I will be using my 3 valve set up...Im on the look out for a totaled 05-06GT to get the motor out of & build from the bottom up!This way I can pull my motor out & keep it as a back up for when I blow up the race motor eventually!
