Default Colder Sparkplugs

I was wondering if colder spark plugs are even close to worth it in a car with just basic bolt ons? You know CAI, X-Pipe, UDPs stuff like that. What do you guys think?

Nope - not even close to worth it...
Unless you are, or are going FI - they won't buy you anything...

I am going FI, unfortunately my wallet has stopped producing $$ on it's own LOL, so it will be a little while until I can do it.

If you go FI - at Saleen "suggests" them with the 475 (crank) kit - and most say that anything beyond there, they are not such a bad idea...

Lots of religion to be found on how exactly to gap them...

With a normally aspriated engine you don't need them.

With a supercharger, they are recommended. (I need to get my set installed so they will provide some margin for knocking).

All the info points to only being beneficial with FI (definite must for N20)

The gap has been debated endlessly as to what exact gap, but everyone agrees it is between .032 - .035

I had a helluva top end miss until I gapped my 0.035"!

Good point about laughing gas! I'd run cooler ones with that stuff as well!!
