the guy thats gonna tune it told me i was running close to 250-275 now. The tune and cold air will add more than 50 hps

You'll gain 25-30rwhp from a intake and tune.

factory specs say its running 300 at the crank which means its running around 250 now from the crank to the wheels.

so as long as i can get to 300 it'll be fine and ill be happy

See the attached Kenne Bell Dyno. 265-270 stock RWHP is considered typical.

You should be able to hit 300 with the CAI & tune plus a few other tweaks. I suspect that you'll need to come up with an additional 12-15 RWHP after the CAI & tune, maybe less if you can get a very, very aggressive tune.
