Thanks for bringing this back, somehow I completely missed it the first time around. Maybe I was on vacation or something.

Nice to see people are getting these cams to work. I still really want these cams for the sound. Flame me if you want but they are sweet. If I had the cash a set of Kooks LT's would go on with an O/R prochamber and these cams. Man that would be sweet.

I have to buy a few more peices to "finish" my car and then when I scrape up some cash I am going to buy these cams and take a road trip to meet Hammeron. That way we can shoot the SH*T and install cams.

I would give up 30rwhp to have that sound as I can never hook up on the street with what I have now anyway and I am not a track junkie.

I have contemplated calling brenspeed (who would work with comp) or Comp direct to see if they could custom make a cam that has a really good lopey idle and be a little more SC friendly.

Hey it's tacobill! Your write ups saved me big time. I don't think I could have done my drive shaft if it was not for your write up.

Anyway, JPC told me that emissions is not a problem with Hot Rods. So as long as you're not throwing codes, you have cats, and have no sensors disabled you'll be fine. Technically these are not emissions legal (since Ford didn't go through the hoops with the EPA to get the official certification), but that doesn't mean you'll have a problem. They aren't radical cams despite the sound. So you'll be fine with these.

Oh and they'll work with any s/c'er. You may not make huge gains but people report no loss of boost so that's good.

The Comp Cams SPR stage 2 and 3 are lopey and they have blower grinds available. The stage 3 is the most lopey cam I've ever heard on these stangs but according to forensicsteve they are not very streetable.

you are always welcome at my home guru, but
it would be a very long drive!

you may not give up all 30, i made 467rwhp with
a custom dyno tune and i have basically all stock
exhaust.....

i'll probably be putting them back in, within the next
3 months.

Hamm where are you again?

Might be cheaper for me to fly you in LoL

I wish I new a local gear head mechanic who could make me feel comfortable tearing into my GT. I am not an idiot when it comes to mechanical things but my car is a DD so learning a lesson could cause alot of family drama.

Mark my words though, these cams will be in my car someday.

lol i've never said, but it's a long long way....

i hear you on working on the DD, i probably would
not have done any of the major projects, if it
were my DD. i needed endless amounts of time
to prepare for and to execute them.
