IMO he should take a look under the car shortly after parking it every time he's been out for a good 10+ mile drive.

If he sees any spillage then pop the hood and look around. See if you can figure out where it came from.

Or take some coolant and spill some under the stang when you
take it to the stealership to have it looked at.

sorry for the confusion, yes ive seen coolant two times. only twice, and that was the two times i took a short trip and parked it, then came back about five minutes later to about a half gallon of coolant under the engine on the ground. All the other times ive had to add small amounts but could never see any on the ground or could find any leaks. Now on my trip to and from and driving around in florida i never saw a leak, but found that it was about an inch lower in the reservoir . . .

Take a short drive again and see what happens.

Sounds to me like you've got a leak.

I cleaned it up a little bit last night but i will take a picture on my lunch break and post it up. But other than that, i have never seen any leaks
Listen to the cap, does it hiss at all when the engine is hot and car off, obviously? If the cap is not sealing, then it will hiss.

You might possable have the bad
leaky coolant overflow cap problem.
I think there is a TSB out on this.
Is the cap OEM or aftermarket?
