Default 2006 Mustang GT eating oil

So on a cold morning I got on it from a stop and the tires started spinning. The traction control kicked in and the motor dropped about 3000 rpms almost immediately. It did not sound good at all for the engine. After that it drove fine but when I checked the oil it was burning it like crazy. After 4 days it went from the top of the dip stick to not even touching the dip stick until I put half a quart in it. This went on for about 2 weeks but then just stopped??? It holds oil fine now and acts normal. I thought I blew a few rings but it’s not eating oil anymore so idk what happened.

Sounds like the engine somehow cured itself but you'll need to regularly check the dipstick in case the problem recurs.
