Default couple of questions, new to 5.0

OK, i recently traded my r6 for my first 5.0! It already has BBK CAI, headers, and a h-pipe. My questions are one) This summer i am planing on doing a build up, I cant decide whether to stick with the 5.0, or throw in the 5.8 short block i have sitting in my garage. I dont really know what swapping the 5.8 involves as far as fuel pump, intake, computer, and stuff like that goes. Would it be too much of a hassle to drop in the bigger motor? What all would i have to change? This isnt my daily driver and i want to make this thing fast!! What do yall recommend as far as Heads, intake, cam for the 351 and/or the 302. Thanks for the input!

351w swap, convertable motor mounts sit the motor lower, so thats a must, a cowl hoos is a must still. trick flow makes a great intake for a efi 351, trick flow makes great heads to. the computer you should not have trouble with.

the heads, cam and upper intake can be used on your 351, but the lower is different b/c the 351 has a different deck height.

Where are you in TX? I'm in Dallas (Carrollton, actually)....

The 351 uses 1/2" head bolts whereas the 302 uses 7/16" bolts.
