99 gt-40 heads questions

i have a 90 gt and i have a set of 99 gt-40 steel heads i want to put on it. but i have heard that with my long tube headers i will have fitment problems. any thoughts

Most longtubes should fit the P heads w/o problems. If you have an auto, you may see soe problems there....

^^^Sorry, I'm assuming they're P heads since you said 99's......

I think you only have to worry about it if you have the GT-40P heads.

97.5+ were all P heads..but just to be sure.........

smokinu....look on the end of the head...3 bars or 4 bars?

3 bars = Gt40 (used on the Cobra)
4 bars = GT40 P (developed for the Exploder, but flow more than the GT40's up to .500)
