Default Intake Swap

Well I was considering just going with the BBK intake (if it would fit) or the trickflow, but I found a guy that is selling his 95 Cobra upper/lower intake. First of all, anybody have any idea of approx how much hp that would net me and the secondary mods I'd need to go with it, and secondly, is it worth it, or would just getting an aftermarket system be better?

Well, its definetly an approvement over the stock manifold. Alot of people consider a Cobra U/L a mod...

Honestly, I would just go w/ a TrickFlow Street Heat but if you are getting a good deal on the Cobra than I guess go for it.

Some other mods you can do to improve your flow is a bigger TB (65mm or 70mm), CAI and upgrade your MA.

like 88BlueGT said, dont get it unless your getting a GREAT deal.... ive seen ported cobra's dyno against other unported aftermarket intakes and still be down 10 hp.... it just depends how much you looking for and how much you want to spend

+1 Also, dont go with the BBK. I have heard that they have pretty good power gains, etc. but they have lots of problems that come along with it.

^^^ Yup. From what I heard its basically a hit or miss with them. Either than are perfect and people love them or the first thing they are doing to their car after the install is taking it off lol
