OK well i thing i have found my car. Its a black 95 gt5.0, completly stock. IM getting long tubw headers, x-pipe, and side exhaust. The next thing i want to go with is a paxton s/c. I have a s/c grand prix and know all about pre-det (knock). But i dont know much about s/c'in a 5.0. Could anyone help. I dont know the compression or what else i should do to the engine performance wise before this, what to do to the tranny, suspension, brakes. If anyone could help me with this ide be very grateful.

THanks.
Dave
Where are ya getting the sidepipes from? I have 94gt that I would like to do the same with.

I just think that 3000 is a huge chunk of money, but when i think about what all it was take me to make it as fast N/A it would cost around the same amount of money. I took out a loan along with selling my car and the grand total came out to 15,000. Im either going to buy someone elses car that is already s/c'ed or buy a car for around 6000 and buy the kit and install it myself. Im lookin to get a 94-95 gt or cobra. I was also thinkin about getting that cervini's cobra R kit. But regardless ill have the money to buy my s/c right off the bat. Its just hard spending that much money. I know it will be worth it though. So which kit would yall reccommend... Powerdyne, procharger, vortech, paxtion?

Are you saying that you have $15,000 right now and you only want to spend around $6,000 for the car? That way you can have $9,000 for mods?

For the most part. Ive been looking and looking and looking for cars, and the average with about 70,000-100,000 is about 6-7 thousand. and the rest are for mods. I want to buy my wheels and the cobra r front bumper and cobra heat extractor hood. then the rest is for perf mods.
