The one aforementioned is a Vortech right?

The Vortech's are a good supercharger......however with those you have to tap the oil pan and is feed with hot engine oil........risky if you dont know what you are doing. Vortechs are also very loud.......Lucky's sounds like there is a cat screaming in the motor.

My PD is self contained (no tapping of the pan) and was a bit cheaper. Mine is very quite. PPL love them and they hate them.

For 1,890 I would have gone with the Vortech too...............I was only seeing them for like 2200 at the time I was supercharger shopping.

ahh so what is the power difference? is it large?

and does yours make the scream as well? jus not as loud right?

I know on the Vortech you can change the pully sizes.......mine you can't.....it voids the warranty.....and mine is quite....the vortech's drive assembly is very loud.....mine is very quite........

i know ill be happy w/ the hp gain

my pd was pretty much straight forward.........can be done with normal everyday tools.......takes about 5 hours.....
