Time to decide what head gaskets I am running.....heard good things about the Multi Layer Steel gaskets from Fel Pro...they are like $85 a piece...anyone running them or any other suggestions

Felpro are good. But if you can afford it go with Cometic gaskets. They are pricey but are worth it.

Lots of guys in the Dallas area are running the regular felpro 9333-pt1's on boosted stangs. Several of the guys have tried others and gone back to those b/c they work the best. I've heard great things about cometic head gaskets, but $$$$$$$$$.

I will have to see if those will work....I am using the new Ford Racing Boss 4 bolt block and the gasket is not the same as a stock 5.0 block....cooling areas are different....

The Ford block is actually like 600 cheaper and supposed to be stronger than a Dart...The Ford has screw in Freeze Plugs and supposedly the cast is stronger than Dart....I will let you know..if I ever get it running again...April is the goal.

all i know is that the dart IE is good for 2000HP but wont ever see that looking for 700+RWHP

i havent had any problems with fel-pros but if u can shell out for the cometics go for it, i got em on my dirtbike and they work great
