I would mix and match. Basically, I would do the systemax intake, especially if you're going to have a power adder down the road. Get the twisted wedge heads with the 2.02/1.60 valves and upgraded springs good for .600" lift. Slap in an FMS X303 cam, or a trickflow stage 2 cam. If you've got stock pistons, you'll have to get thme notched for clearance, but I think you said you were getting new stuff anyway right??? The heads/cam/intake I suggested will be approx the same price as the two kits you mentioned... maybe cheaper.

I use the holley intake , & trick flow heads. If you want to spend some money & get a real good engine check out tandlengines.com I got an awesome 347 from them. They are a real engine developement plant. They have been featured in muscle mustang and fast ford several times.. i know this sounds like an add.. but i love my engine.

Won't have numbers/times until spring, but I'm guessing it should be 300rwhp, maybe a few more. I've got some other small stuff that will help out, but we'll see. The place I'm getting it tuned uses a Mustang dyno that will actually predict 1/4 performance w/in .2sec and 1-2mph accuracy. It will be interesting to see what I can do compared to what the car can do. And it's LTnone, because my ford has no LT's Cheesy, I know, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do

performer rpm 2, afr 185's especially if ur boosting, and custom cam. im going NA with that stuff and a 331 kit from eagle.

Yeah i read where AFR 165's added 100bhp on and stock block, then 23 more hp with 1.7 roller rockers on it
