Default lifters

as talked about on last post i'm going with new heads. well when i do these should i put in new lifters and push rods, i'm still running stock ones i didnt replace them in the rebuild plus they looked fine. my question actually would be, if i get new lifters and push rods, are they all the same or are there brands that make a big difference?

I have heard that it is a good idea to change them both out when you get into the motor like that. You already there, why not spend the extra cash and do it all at once?

Unless there is something wrong with your lifters I wouldnt change them. As for the pushrods, i would get hardened ones because stock are known to bend with the increased spring pressure of the new heads.
