I'll admit its fun revving it with open headers but the cops show no love so I need these things hooked up haha. I bought the x pipe and headers from 50resto. Looks like the car sits till Monday

I had the same problem as you. Although mine are shorty not long. The hardware BBK provided wasn't good either, so I had to get all new ones. Then just bolted it up the best I could. Its all there, just not 100%. I got it close enough with just a minor leak on the drivers side.

the headers are not, or should not be different lengths...
the reason why one comes back further than the other is a simple case of exhaust port location.
since both heads can be used on either side of the motor... the exhaust ports would naturally be slightly offset due to the design of the heads.
the passenger side header should always stick slightly further back under the body then the drivers side

Well I bought some mufflers with the X pipe and headers but the total came out to just under $775 shipped. The mufflers were $180 and shipping for everything came out to $55.

I noticed the passenger side kinda sits up INTO the body moreso than the driver side but it's not further towards the rear of the car.
Edit: As you can see in those pics both sides of the mid pipe are offset.

I have the exact set-up you're saying you have and mine lined right up. The BBK badge that is welded to the mid-pipe should be right side up and readable from the driverside when you look under your car. If it doesn't fit that way then maybe you have two pieces that don't go together?
