i have a 5.0 ho out of a lincoln and i want to run a shortbelt on it...but my question is, which water pump to use? i have an older 302 water pump with the opposite turning impeller and a new water pump for an 87-93 5.0 ho. the way my belt is ran, the water pump is turning clockwise, but when i take off the plate on the back of the water pump, the new water pump impeller is spinning clockwise as to push water down.Does water flow from the bottom of the radiator up or does water flow down? im clueless so any help/pics would be appreciated.
