Well if you are looking at supercharging the car later on, the stock cam is a really good candidate for it, with almost perfect lobe seperation and overlap.

I have the stock cam in my 91, and it still lobes a tiny bit at idle with my 1.7's, sounds damn good, plus the stock cam is good for 12's in the 1/4. If you are going to do all the other things: heads, MAF, TB, Gears, intake, etc.. The stock cam can still get you moving quite well.. It is all up to you!

i have a b303 cam in my 90 or at least thats what i was told when i purchased the car from my friend and so far everything that he told has been in the car gears, chip etc..........so what would be my best bet on intake and heads...........i am leaning toward the bbk ssi intake system and trick flow heads is there anything else i would need before getting these upgrades...........the car is bored .30 over, h-pipe with flowmasters, underdrive pulleys, ram air kit and k&n filter,b303 cam, hypertech chip, and 3.73 gears...........cant remeber if i have missed anything...........also with the mods i have and if i go with the heads and intake about how much extra hp could i gain?

Yah, the performer heads he has, he told me has different roller rockers in it or something. I don't know what it's called exactly, but yah, it has the "1.7s" done to it, whatever that means, lol.

He told me the cam in his car was custom grinded and runs very smooth and could take any power adders, turbo, supercharger, nitrous, etc. so it's better than the e303 cam he says.

BTW, he is my friend, not just some guy that is trying to sell me his car, just in case you think he's blowing smoke up my ***, lol.

The only reason why I sound so unsure, is because I am unsure, I don't have any racing experience, nor did I have a father interested in cars to have taught me when I was young, everything I know and have done was basically self-taught, either by talking to people like you guys, reading books, or looking up things online.

So if any of you have any spare time and care to explain how a few things work, I'd greatly appreciate it and your effort wouldn't be in vain, I'd read the whole thing.

Correct me if Im wrong, but wouldnt the fuel economy be the same when converting to 24's from 19's if your engine didnt need the extra fuel? Like can the 24's supply less than 24lbs or do they just do 24lbs 24/7

I have NO clue aliate, if it won't have a gas mileage hit, those 24 babies are going into my car, along with his aftermarket higher flow fuel rail, lol.
