Ok, Haynes manual says it is on the passenger side by the air filter charger. I looked and there it was.

do u have to have a timing gun to do this? I can see the marks just fine on the balancer, what exactly is the purpose of the gun?

what do you mean spout chip where is the spout chip. I have a 94 GT where is the spout chip and how do I take it off

on 94's its on the passenger side near the airfilter, its a little gray plastic thing plugged into a wire http://www.muscularmustangs.com/images/timing1.jpg
