It is a pretty straight forward swap. Use the search option (if its working now) or google it and there are many places to look. If you want tail pipes you will need to swaped the brake lines in the rear also. You can also get away with running the in tank pump with a carb motor but you would be better off to swap to a carb tank also or modify the pickup in the tank to run a mechanical pump. I would type out other things you need but I am too tired at the moment. I'm sure someone else will chime in to. Just take you time and do your research.

yes, 5.0 motors bolt right in.

I'm doing the same swap except i'm jumping from a Turbo 2.3 lol

My Question is could we use a inline fuel pump?

Yes you can. Many people use the Holley Blue inline pump.

Nice that'll definately make it easier, should drill and tap into the bottom of the tank right?

Default re re

i have seen where you can just use the gas tank drain plug instead of drilling and tapping the tank. if it has a drain plug

We did a swap from the 2.3L Turbo. Our car had a few differences, we had to drill a couple slotted holes ect to make the motor mounts fit correctly. Heres a few things we did,

8.8 rear end
V8 springs all around.
V8 sway bars.
V8 control arms/larger brakes up front.
Aftermarket rear control arms.

Basically we put all beefier/V8 parts on the car. Along with subframe connectors and a strut tower brace. Don't just swap motor mounts and drop a 5.0 in it.

The 4 cyl springs are used alot in v8 cars. It is a popular cheap swap.
Tank with a drain plug? Havn't ever seen that in a fox, not with the stock tank at least.
With mine I removed the fuel pump and put a rubber hose in its place that was the same length of the whole pump and filter. Then be sure to remove the wires so they don't make contact and spark on you. I will be putting a carb style tank back under mine soon.
