well we pulled the motor out of the car today. power washed it and the bay. now heres the fun parts lol. we first pulled the covers off. i noticed the heads are very clean. now supposly my car has 130k on the speedo. so then we get to the heads off. looked at the walls. they look fresh, not marks, not lip nothing. still has fresh hash marks. also noticed no gasket was ford. also noticed it had a double roller timing chain.[dont know if ford is stock like that or not] well we pulled out the stock cam and installed my new one. put new chain on and now waiting for heads got get back from shop. after that its time to put it together fully.

glad to here theres nothing wrong with your engine and its nice and clean i hop eyou like the new cam and heads when you get it all back together

wow, u got the complete opposite that i did. i got shafted with my engine [:@]. but shes all better now, and i cant complain about 11 more cubes

also my stock heads have hash marks. im thinking this could be a low mileage 306.
