Question Baffled with a noise

I have a internal engine noise. best why that i can discribe it is a rod knock. problem is the noise goes away after the car is warm. With electronic ears I have pinpointed the noise to be the loadest between cylinder 7 and 8 right about the freeze plug area. any help or ideas would be great.

only thing i can think of is a possible cracked or broken skirt.

what's you're oil pressure like?

& does it change tone in comparison between accelerating & decelerating?

Btw... I know it's off topic, what color is your car if you don't mind me asking. You could pm me the answer if you don't want to get off topic much.

well i have the curse! seems to be a little worse under power.

I thought it might be a wrist pin also but I pulled the plugs one at a time to unload the cylinder but could not hear any change.

just hate to pull this engine chasing somewhat of a ghost.

MJR i will try to get a video. took one with my phone but not good enough quality for ya'll to get anything from it
