The Procomp heads, Patriot heads and Flotek heads are made in China and flow poorly. Their valvetrain is weak too. But then again, you get what you pay for. BTW what part of Phoenix do you live in?

Mustang 5.0(magazine) did three articles within the last year with cylinder head combos. One was with the Flotex heads, the World iron heads and the Patriot heads. I can't find the articles on hand, but I am sure their site will have the articles. It might be something to look into. As for the heads, the Patriots, although Chinese will still work okay. Their heads, plus a cam, rockers and gaskets you should spend less then $1200. As for your location question, I have several family members that live there: three in Paradise Valley, one just east of Arrowhead Mall, and one off of Bell Rd. It's a beautiful place and I'd like to move out there someday.
