Hi again, The reason I wanted you to try full syn oil is because it burns at a much higher temp and even though your car might be using it that big cloud of smoke behind you might go away a little but what do I know I have only owned a car dealership for over over 10 years. Also by changing your pcv some of your leaks may stop. Bottom line is your motor has seen better days and if you would like to know for sure get a compression test, that will tell the story.

So seeing as how I'm burning oil, would it be a good idea to change my plugs? Pretty sure I got everything down packed. Along w checking the PCV. Wish I had 2 grand sittig around, I know someone selling a 306 longblock w intake and all. Would probably just be painless to swap. Ohh well, gives me time to save and build a motor over time

Might as well. What is another 16 bucks for new plugs? They never hurt
