Default Mustang 94 gt low oil pressure

hi, im currently looking at getting a 94 gt. i overall like it but the oil pressure gauge is low. ive been told its either a bad sending unit, oil pump, or bad bearings. If its either the sending unit or oil pump i can deal with that but cant afford a rebuild if the bearings are bad. Ive been told the engine was already rebuilt and has about 15k on the engine and it had a used transmission swapped out last month. it drove good and smooth and he said the gauge had always been low when he bought it. hes put 1k on it since hes owned it. Also i know its probably due to a oil change too. Im wondering if you can tell me which of the following it could possibly be? im leaning toward the sending unit. Thanks.

The factory gauge is not all that it could be....check oil pressure with a wet gauge.

You will be very lucky for it to be the sending unit or the oil pump but regardless if it is bearings thats all you have to do unless the crank is scared. then have it turned then bearings! not really costly,no need for a rebuild!! just bearings if they are bad if it is recently rebuilt and has 15k and oil problems i`d be kinda worried about that.
