Theres also a spot about an inch or so from the bottom of the dipstick tube,on the tube itself, that has a raised area which prevents the tube from going any deeper into the block.It allows the tube to be pushed down into the block hole until its seated fully,but prevents it from going any further than that.Make sure that raised area on the tube is still there because if not,the tube will be sitting too deep in the block and it would cause an overfilled appearance too.
