RE: head flow chart. whats your opinion
The link below hasfigures thatwere obtained by Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords when they went through most of the heads on the market in different build ups.. I still have the original Dart / World Products heads from 10 yrs ago (back when you only had a choice of 3 or 4 and a company had destroyed my TFS high ports). The Darts were heavily ported, but my engine and torque figures are ruffley the same on the dyno as some of the newer heads box stock. It's frustrating, but since I spent the money to get here I'm not in a rush to swap to a newer head. The Darts work well ported.. but if I had to make a decision, I like the TFS and AFR as emission friendly heads with good results.

WOW. I am actually really shocked by the amount of information there is there. I cant beleive how close the 145cc gt40 head is to a 180cc world head. I also wonder if its that low how much improvement there is when you do some bowl clean up and port matching on the 180 heads.

and just imagine what a little port work and some larger valves do for the 40's or the P's. reallly, if you take a set of GT4-P heads and throw some 1.94/1.5 or 1.6 valves in it, and blend the bowls after opening it up you'll have a very nice flowing set of heads that will retain the stock look, have ford quality, and run like the dickens. they wont be the best heads out there, but they will work very well - and personally i like making power from stock parts, its more of an accomplishment than just throwing money at a set of aftermarkets that you bolt on and drive away with. (yeah, im a automotive romantic [8D] )
