Dart pro 1 heads?
ok i cant decide because i have read good things about them in the magazines, but i do not know if the magazines are just saying that to get more money or what! are the dart cylinder heads good?, i am going to be putting these on a 347, with a good shot of nitrouse (this is my race carnot DD) but i want to do it on kind of a budget so i dont want to blow the doors out for the cost of the heads and such!
1. are these heads good
2.what is another head you would recomend for a 10.1 compression 347,
THanks for the help guys

RE: Dart pro 1 heads?
Dart makes decent heads. I know some people that use them in dirt track hobby stock, the cast iron versions that are allowed as a stock replacement. They make good power for engines that are rules restricted to wuss cams and low cranking compression. There are a lot of good heads out there, for a SBF I'd look at Edelbrock's new Pro Port CNC RPM series heads. You'll have to call about them, since they're not yet listed on their site. The flow numbers I saw for the 190cc port versions were better than anything else in the same size class.
