Default Question about Lucas Transmission Treatment

I know this is probably not the right area to ask this question but I thought I would try anyways. A friend of mine has an automatic transmission and when shifting has a very slight jerk feeling. Its not that bad. He wanted to go ahead and add some of that Lucas tranmission treatment to his transmission in hopes that it will not get any worst. Does he just add that stuff into what is in the transmission now or does he have to remove some of the fluid first before he adds in the treatment?

if hes already feeling signs of problems, the lucas is not going to fix anything.

lucas is meant to prevent, not fix.

in any case, it may be worth trying but probably wont see any results.

If you really must add some obviously you don't want to overfill it so if at operating temps the level is currently full you will have to find a way to remove roughly a quart.
BTW Lucas trans crap turns the seals kinda gummy after a short time.Trust me. have seen it plenty of times.
