The project is starting to come togther, hopefully i will have it up and running in the next few weeks.

Started with a stock 87 with SD.

Now am running, stock short block, Doug Herbert heads, 64cc chambers, 2.02 intake valves, 1.60 exhaust, 190cc runners. 1.6 Rollers, F cam, RPM air gap intake manifold, holley 670, shorty headers.

Fairly close to a setup I read about in an article that tested to 400 at the crank. If I get anyone close to that I would be thrilled. Figured any more than 300 rwhp and I would be happy.

Anyone care to make a guess as to the final output?

first of all, this TOTALLY doesnt belong in this section

second, nobody races a dyno.. the power output is irrelevant, get it to the track

and I doubt you'll break 270

I'm guessing 280 rwhp untuned. 300 rwhp tuned.

my bad didnt mean to ruffle any feathers.

and to the original reply this car is very well prepped for the track, engine was the last thing to be done. been racing on a stock engine for the last year.
