Yup thats the easiest way to get a wide wheel and thinner tire mounted. I had to do that with all 4 of my truck's 37's

We tried like hell to get this dry rotted tire to air up on a ten inch wheel and it would not hold air. So we pulled the stang up to the shop, he jacked it up and then he grabbed the ether. He started asking for a lighter and finally grabbed a propane torch. At this time, I grabbed a water hose. lol Anyway,he pushed the tire back and sprayed either on the inside of the rim, then sprayed a line of it on the concrete. Took the torch to the either on the ground and pop, the thing was fully aired up. It was the most redneckish thing I have ever seen but, it worked.

Oh course he got to telling me about a dune buggy story where a guy tried it twice and couldn't get it to hold, then sprayed to much and turned the buggy a flip. it was pretty funny.

Anyway, if your tire ever falls off the rim and won't seal, just grab the either. lol You may need to give it some air after this or the fire will burn up all the oxygen and it will go flat. There is a proper way to this but, the either is way cooler.
Seen it done about 25 years ago. Pretty dangerous in my opinion.

BTW, Your sig is too large!!! 500x250

Do you mean the process itself or is there additional danger after the tire has been inflated? I think that when I do this, I will remove the wheel from the car and then spray a very LONG line to keep a safe distance.

Use the same method to put tire back on rim of Bobcat. Machine that replaces 10 laborers.
