Manual transmission info I'd like to share

-At the very front of the input/5th gear there is a seal ball bearing.
-The pocket bearing (in the input/5th gear) are horizontal roller bearings caged in plastice (these bearings rid on the snout/pilot of the mainshaft).
-At the center support, for both main and countershafter, there are horizontal roller bearings caged in plastic.
-At the rear of the mainshaft there is another sealed ball bearing.
-At the front of the countershaft there is a sealed ball bearing.
-At the rear of the countershaft there are horizontal roller bearings caged in metal.
Also, go up to ANY, new, used or broken MT-82 and jiggle the input shaft. It has a decent amount of radial/lateral play.

Cant argue with you, just throwing out suggestions about the bearings as I am not prepared to take mine apart to study it so it is what it is. It can have axial play in the shaft without being an issue if its in tolerance though. However it seems that the problems that have been reported on other threads revolve around the shifting forks and the synchros.
Since you have knowledge of the inner workings do you have a fix?

Just throwing this out there since it seemed to do a **** load of improvement for me.
I swapped out my MT fluid with AMSOIL Severe Gear 75w90. Hoping that the fluid would be overall superior and remove the synco whining i would hear at lower speeds shifting from 1-2 and 2-3. It completely removed it and the shifting is way better. I have not had any cold yet so I cannot comment on cold shifting but it is a big improvement so far.

Sure. Just buy a new custom bell housing and new yoke and have the driveshaft length checked. Cheaper to buy a rebuilt t45 probably.
