I will say it is much better than points. Just for the set it and forget it aspect. As far as cold
starts go its tough to say because the weak link usually shows up with my cold starts and for
me its my crappy "Holly 1850" 600 cfm manual choke carb. Sometimes I feel Id be better off
with a water bottle with gas in it and a hose going to the manifold.
