Default 289 Head Tightening sequence

Still waiting on my shop manual to show up sooo....

Does anyone have the head tightening sequence for factory 289 heads?

Your help and reply is appreciated.

You start in the midde and work your way out to the edge, then re- check and adjust it after you are done.

Valve train middle bolt or outside middle bolt? I am guessing valve train middle.

It's a three step process - 50 ft-lbs, 60 ft-lbs then 65 to 70 from the middle out unless the head gasket or machine shop that did the heads gives you a different maximum.
