Best Classic Mustang magazine?

RE: Best Classic Mustang magazine?
when I bought my 65 (in 1994) the previous owner had been a long time subscriber to MM and he gave me a big box of old issues.
I used to sit around and read all the old articles talking about "Next year the Mustang will have EFI!" and "Ford may replace the mustang with something called a Ford Probe."
I subscribe to 5.0 too, but it doesn't touch the classics much.

RE: Best Classic Mustang magazine?
I used to be a regular subscriber to MM, M&F, going back to the 80's. M&F by several different names.
For a long time, I've seen both of them as only infomertials. Exactly half of content is Adds, how to articles & Things you can do to your car this weekend articles only re-pimp their advertisers products, and only rarely is any mention made of products, not of their advertisers, made.
It wasnt untillI first started looking on Mustang forums, online did I find out, that ; The Tri-Y headers so heavily advertised, dident fit an AOD-despite several AOD articles, Or that Polly strut rod bushings could lead to strut rod failure, on 67-73 Mustangs.
I now rely on the Mustang Forums(several) to get reliable up to date information.
If ever there is a Mustang Magazine, with substantial classis content, done like Hot Rod I'll subscribe.
At this point I'd rather spend money supporting the forums than buy another subscription to either MM or M&F
