Speaking of attention...it was my usual trip to the gas station today.

Station is pretty empty so I pull up to the side where there isn't anyone at the pumps and only two other cars on the other side of the station.

Sure enough, some guy pulls around from the other side of the station and starts telling me how he used to own a '65, etc. Then he asked if I was "ready to sell it yet?"

I replied I might be happy to sell...depends on the offer....He didn't really give me a reply to that.

For $10k I would have told him have a nice day. But if he was a real sucker I would sell it because I could find another Mustang and pocket the difference.

Get ready to have some interesting trips to the gas station now that you purchased the fastback.

It does get a lot of attention...thumbs up for guys and females of all ages will wave, honk, scream and smile. My best story happened last year, i was filling it up and a female that looked to be around 60 came over and said "I lost my virginity in a '65 Mustang." I just smiled and said oh that explains where that stain in the back seat came from, thanks haa.

The fact that she would come up and say that is disturbing.

Very! My wife was with me and she could not believe it either. Lots of crazy folks out there and most seem to live here in Ga ha

+1 to that...you sure she wasn't some kind of nasty grandma trying to chat you up? Ok, that just inspires some really sick mental pictures.
