Removing dried 3M weathership adhesive

Scootchu.. Goof Off is what I used and yes.. it was the yellow adhesive. Worked great and didn't affect my new paint at all.
groho.. WD didn't do anything for me. Had someone here suggest it and the rag simply slid over it. Wouldn't soften the adhesive at all for removal.
