For the purpose of getting 'core' V8 stuff, yes. Your steering linkage is either OK or it's not, but unlike the 64-66, the 200 linkage is the same as the 289. A rotted-out V8 will give you an 8" rear with brakes, V8 C4, and even V8 front brakes. The degree to which any of them can be used without repair will vary.
