Question 65 mustang clutch pedal with JMC hydraulic clutch

I need to know how to properly adjust my clutch pedal so that it disengages just after you depress it towards the floorboard. Right now I have a lot of free play and the I feel resistance and the clutch doesn't even release/disengage until about an inch from the floor I would guess. I have a diaphragm clutch and a JMC hydraulic clutch with a T5 5-speed. I have had no problems or had to adjust it in the 10 yrs I have had this setup but now it's probably just the normal maintanance that I need to do. It's barely disengaged all the way even with the pedal all the way to the floor which makes for some interesting reverse shift! I turn off the engine, shift into reverse, and then start it back up to backup! LOL

I'd start by draining all the fluid and rebleeding. Sounds like you have 10 year old fluid. Then I'd go through the steps to adjust as came in the installation instructions.
