ok, heres the deal.. When my car reaches normal temperature(180-200) after sitting in traffic.. my power steering gets hard.. and starts to whine... When i open up the pump the power steering liquid looks like pepto bismol!!! Do ya'll think its the pump or maybe i just have to flush it?? help!!

 

Sounds like water got into the reservoir.It separates until the pump runs for awhile,then gets mixed together.Easy to mistake for a temperature related problem.Drain and refill.
