Which is exactly what you've been "playing" for the past seven pages of this thread.

I dunno, i can respect the 6cyl, its just i cant do it on a ford, it seems sorta out of place. I'll pay more attention this march when the track re opens and talk with some of the sixxer owners and see what they run
it's cool... When the twin turbo v6 ford motor comes out, I'll make sure to wave as I'm flying by ya (and yes, the motor can handle up to 450hp which is about the same as a 96-04 gt without messing with internals)... I probably won't hear ur car either because I'll be ahead of ya with some music bumping

Look, everyone has the right to their own opinions. if you don't like v6's, so be it... I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.... but some of the things you say are ignorant (no offense ) and I guess that's the reason why I feel compelled to reply to your posts.

Oh yea, the 350z is a nice car. I'd never own one.

You be sure to tell me about that Twin turbo V6 when it comes out.. just like you would about that 5.0 V8 that was suppose to be coming out this year.

IF a TT v6 comes out, and IF a v8 is offered, it wont be faster than the 8 banger..they'll make sure of that. it's been like that through ford history.

This chat is /over. V8>V6 end of story..not in my opinion but as a matter of fact.. your over here talking about turbos and stuff, why is it so hard for people to understand that FI= displacement. You wanna TT a V6? TT the V8 and see what happens. Do whatever you do to the six to the 8. I believe there will be a turbo 6 in the mustang, some day i can see it happening. But theres no way it will be faster than the V8. And if a V8 isn't offered (blasphemy) i'll ditch Fords.

the tt v6 is coming out, the 5.0 v8 was never announced. I'm not saying v6's are better than v8's, I'm just saying they aren't trash like you are saying.
You post a video of a stock 5.0 vs a modded 350z like your a fanboy of v8's like your daddy is the one who designed them. Get over it. V6's are coming out faster and faster. Nissan had 300hp in a v6 5 years ago.

Personally, I like having a v8 stang, I love the sound, I like the power, but the fact of the matter is, there are STOCK 4 bangers and v6's that can and will beat my car (regardless if it's superchared/turbochared STOCK).
2 more things:
1. I had a vehicle that had 110 hp that would whip ur car (750 GSXR) hehe.
2. What happens when they all get rid of v8's? Are you not going to drive ever again? Have fun driving around in your new nike shoes

btw, i'm just giving u more sh*t because of your outstanding posts. This is the internet, take it easy sleezy

that 5.0 wasnt stock, or the Z guy absolutely sucks at driving, no way a car that traps 100-101 mph will only have a car lenght on a car that traps 90-92 mph.

all the "new" 5.0 is is just a stroked 4.6

how is it a fact its always V8? theres more to making power then displacement, compression ratio, cam specs, Heads and intake. you cant even push a 5.0 above 450 HP and have it safe for a DD, my cars not going to have that issue? also, my heads dont flow like a drinking straw.

replacement for displacement = technoligy, weather you like it or not.

If Ford ever dumps the V8 & starts making power other ways like multi-valved forced induction V6's or whatever,, that is the day they should put the Mustang name to rest.

..they should make the high tech power using another car name. I never expected the "Mustang" nameplate was going to last forever, and I'd rather see the name die than see it used in non-traditional platforms. Do you remember when Ford was considering calling the Probe the new Mustang?? Yuck! FWD & no V8. That just isn't a Stang. V6 Stangs are OK in my book, as long as there still is a V8 option available.

twin turbo v8s can be very efficient, I don't see why that's not the next step.
