I have JBA, BBK hava a similair design and both are much better than stock. You will notice the difference in tone and no you dont need a tune.

actually wanted the JBAs instead but I have ordered from brenspeed before but they don't carry JBAs I don't think...

Do I even need shorty headers if I am going to be running open cut outs anyways??

they certainly will help out flow that much faster I know that much...
