CMCV's are a set of spacers between the intake manifold and the cylinder head, supposedly they are there for low end torque and noise reduction. I installed the CMCV delete plates on my car and noticed no increase in noise and no loss of torque, infact it picked up a little more power in the high RPMs that I could feel. A custom tune is required.

yes you need a tune, I really felt this mod, more then most people did or so it seems.
I would highly reccomend this mod cheap and pretty easy, just take your time with the install and keep it clean
