Hope it stays noise free for you.

ok this f**king noise came back again. I grinded down the bracket and it had a huge gab between the hanger and the bracket. Its crazy how much the metal expands the noise now rattles when i start moving and up or down hills is there anything i can put on the hanger like rubber or something to make that metal to metal sound go away!! there was a huge gap and when i went to go look at it it was touching the hanger again.

Please help thanks

Get your car warmed up. Drive around and make sure it squeaks. Then go home, park it, get under the car and using and oven mit wiggle your mufflers and pipes around until you find where the squeak is coming from.

I had the same problem, and instead of grinding or cutting, I figured I'd try something else first, and it worked. Just cut some rubber tubing in half, and zip tie it onto the hanger to act as a bumper. It'll still touch, but won't rattle.

When i went in for my weird feeling, one thing the technician showed me was this TSB for your exact problem (08-3-4 rattle/buzz/vibration-transmission cross member exhaust mount. This TSB supersedes TSB 06-4-1 which informs the technicians to zip-tie the metal and rubber) You need to cut the metal off. Cut in the middle, and bend to the sides. This will leave you with only rubber but that's fine. If you have access to Alldata or go to a shop, they can show you.

If you want the whole TSB, pm me and i will get it to you. The pictures that is.
