Default need help: grinding nosie at high RPMs before shifting

This is happening only during spirited acceleration > 4k RPMs or so on our 5-speed manual 2008 GT. Car is still under std 3 year wrranty until June-2011, we purchased it used in Oct10 from Ford dealer. Is this a bearing or lubrication issue inside the clutch asembly? Also, is this a known problem with the 2005-09 GT series? thanks
