Default S197 GT Spark Plugs

I'm considering to sell my current '02 Mustang GT and get an '06 GT Manual 5-speed. My main worry is the spark plugs. My 02 has a nasty habit of popping spark plugs out, (Five so far) and I was wondering if the 2006's 4.6L has the updated heads or not. Any answers are appreciated!

The 4.6 3V only had the updated heads from build date 01-12-07 onwards so you're only going to find them on late '08 and '09-'10 models. The '06 will have the two-piece plugs and the easy solution is to swap in a set of Champion 7989's.
At least the 3v heads don't have a tendency to blow out plugs like the 2v heads, but the two-piece plugs can break upon removal unless you follow the correct procedure as per the TSB.

Dino is correct, the issue of blowing out the threads was corrected. But the early generation 2 piece plugs can break when removing. Installing the mentioned Champions solves this issue.

Did my plugs this weekend. Had the originals in for 96k miles. Man, those suckers were in tight. I little anti seize would have been nice from the factory. Put anti seize on the new ones and they went in by hand all the way down.
