Drive by Wire
'05 gt 'vert.
If a tune is done,(Diablo/SCT),to get rid of the 'drive by wire' throttle
response,will it need to go higher octane?

You can do a tune with 87, 89,91, and 93 octane. Just tell them you want a regular gas tune.

Ive got Brenspeeds C&L Intake & Tunes. It did not help the slow throttle response.[:'(]

The only throttle response issue I have is between 40 and 45. It takes anywhere from 2 to 3 seconds to downshift into 2nd. Everywhere else I have no lag.
