Well I finally decided I'm gonna stick with my Vortech now. Mainly because I just found out cxracing makes a bolt on air to air intercooler for S197 Vortech cars with no cutting or fabbing required, and best part is they only want $500 for the kit instead of the $1800 Vortech wants. I figure that with a few more psi would be nice, and eventually do a wastegated setup later down the line.
Got that recall work done on my Mustang today. I STILL haven't gotten to the suspension yet. I've really got to get off my lazy *** and do it. The Watt's link is clunking something fierce over bad pavement too, so I will need to readjust it while I'm tackling the rear suspension. Oh, and I got another rock chip in my windshield. Damn you, I-495!
I also need to get some pics of the Eclipse so I can sell it. I'm tired of looking at that rustbucket. My next winter beater will probably be something built in this millennium.
My hood already has 3-4 chips in it. Two of them are down to the metal. I'm going to have to sand and paint them ASAP
I hate 495 so much.
I stay back at least 4 car lengths now. I'm done with all the flying debris.
Speaking of hoods, I'm 99% sure mines made of fiberglass, (its definitley not metal) but it looks like it has to be the factory hood. I did some research and everyone says the stock hoods are aluminum, but mine isn't haha. Anyone elses like that?
(Sorry if all the hoods are like that and im just dumb)
