so ive got a 200 mustang gt 2v 4.6 and recently i had water in oil at random and a bad degas cap so needless to say ive done what was needed to rid myself of both problems now im not showi g wayer in oil no morr coolant loss what so ever but im consistantly having to check spark plugs and particularly number 8 and side note i do have blue coils but not sure if they were aftermarket or not they arent labeled and ive had to repair and replace 2 horrible thread kit bore reapairs on cylinder 6 and 5 but i had replaced all plugs with ngk platnium iridium plugs and the cylinder 8 is now a dud plug barely sparking i tested the coil with the copper autolite thst was in there and its blue as all hell solid spark and so now im getting some real weird tapping at low load coasts then as i accell it just about goes away so ive gone thru my lifters and the oil passages their n all that seeemed good i thought it may just have been an exhaust keak on that noise but not to sure could be the timing chain tentioner plates wearing i havent checked that yet what do you guys think anyone have some fire info to help me burn these rear tires as badass as they used to now i can burn em just not as showy as before lol
