Other than increasing the flow rate or adding another Intercooler I'm at a loss. Here is another idea that may help. It has a high boiling point and better transfer rate, better adhesion and less likely to cavitate than the EG based coolents.

Other than this you may look at adding a larger IC, moving more air thru thru the IC, larger pump GPM or adding another IC away from the engine heat. On my SC 5.4, it runs an avarage IAT that is only 15* above the outside air temp. 65*=80* IAT and 90*=105*IAT. Let us know how you solve this. Good luck.

i know about evans. 140 degree higher boiling point. Definately an option.

I will post my findings.

If you are sure this is most certainly a problem and not a normal coolant temp then I would obviously try to determine and fix the problem. If it isnt such a crazy coolant tempt for your setup, you might want to consider a killer chiller.

I am going to add 2 Spal fans and most likely Evans cooling fluid. I already moved the heater hoses up and away from the headers. Water wetter and moving the hoses helped idle temps. I also put in a bleeder to help get all the air out. I am told the AFCO intercoolers hold air so I am going to use vacuum to remove air tomorrow.

On my 5.4 lightning engine ,

reservoir (aftermarket) I had a small NPT tap at top of the reservoir with a long rubber line from it to ground, so nothing gets on the engine if it ever came out.

Overfilling the reservoir is a commom no no as well. Just enough to flow and cool.

Works fine

The dual fan upgrade is a MUST, thats my next move, ;imagine you turning off the fan to your engine.
Similiar to the blower setup having NONE, COMPRESSOR=HEAT
